To be fair this is completely unexpected. Surprised UEFA didn't overrule this.
I'm watching the warm up coverage on Danish tv, some of the Danish players do not look in the frame of mind to play football. Kasper Schmeichel is going to every player and asking if they're okay and giving them a pep talk while his dad is pitch side doing coverage, he must be a proud father right now.

I remember when a player collapsed on the pitch a few years ago. Cardiac arrest I think. Can't remember his name though.

Those players are made of stronger stuff than me. Fair play to them.
I'd have thought a sub. The rules are the rules.

If he’s well enough to be doing that it’s incredible news. I’ll be honest I thought he was gone, what a turn around. Love it.
Highlight for me was Janssen the sub getting ready for kickoff, then hauled to the sideline so he can be officially subbed on :/
edit: to be clear I'm not suggesting Denmark shouldn't need to use a sub, just seemed a bit jobsworth to have a player already on the pitch not allowed to just get on with it with the board being waved without him having to trot over and stand next to it for 5s before trotting back to where he was.

This is a great 'image' if true but I'd take it with a pinch of salt, this is the sort of time that all sorts of rumours will be flying about.
