"Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET. The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised."

From UEFA Twitter.

As others have said, I cannot believe they filmed the medics performing CPR or his wife in the crowd. Thank god he's stable and hopefully he's able to make a full recovery.

He's going to be fine, it was a dive all along!!

Seriously, I was shaking at one point, couldn't believe what I was witnessing. So glad to hear he's stable, might not play football ever again but can go back to his family.

I doubt most young people have seen someone (nearly in this case) die in front of them. Truly horrific.

A little surprised the BBC didn't cut away earlier instead of carrying on with the feed.

On sky sports they never show a serious incident. Things that might be leg breaks etc.
Yep as soon as it became obvious they should've gone straight to the studio, Alex Scott was only just keeping it together as well.

UEFA have tweeted he's been stabilised in hospital

Glad to hear he's stable and in a hospital. Hopefully he makes a full recovery! Surely they'll call the game off now? There's no way either set of players will want to play on after thinking they saw one of their friends collapse like that

Yeah the footage was outrageous, you even saw them use the defib on him because BBC showed his body jerk when they used it. Though nothing surprises me with the BBC lately.

Thank god. BBC were bang out of order for what they showed it should have cut to that distant camera much, much sooner.

They don't control the cameras. This is a worldwide TV programme. Every broadcaster in the world don't get to place their own cameras and direct things.
