Nothing about that penalty was good! Literally straight down the middle. Probably one of the worst places to put it. Lucky. Plain and simple luck.

Eh? Nearly every keeper decides to dive left or right before it’s taken and if you can hit it as hard as big Rom, I’d argue the middle is as good a choice as any.

I can hit the ball much harder than Lukaku hit the ball for that penalty. There is a reason why very few players put penalties straight down the middle. If the keeper doesn't go that far across the goal he has a good chance of his legs saving those ones down the middle.

Thats like saying that any shot that goes in is a good shot. If you smack a shot that is going 3m wide and it deflects in, its not a good shot. If you scuff a shot and it completely wrong foots the keeper, its not a good shot. If whatever you do would not normally result in a good outcome, its not a good example of how to score a goal.
