By running at pace towards his own goal? :confused: Not to worry, every time I criticize a player, they either score or set one up. :D

Why? if Italy come out and attack our pace and attacking power will rip them to shreds. Our defence is better than theirs as well. They are a well organised team because of their manager but the England squad is vastly superior in every position bar maybe the keeper.

Games like tonight are always boring. Ukraine will defend till the 80's minute then go all out for the last ten to get into extra time.

italy will wind our players up with their theatrics, nick a lead and win by running out the clock. Make no mistakes, they will dirty their way past us to a win

Why do people saying the other team are "parking the bus" when a) England are having possession on the half way line or in their own half and b) Ukraine are having as much possession as England and c) Ukraine have had a decent chunk of possession in England's half?

How is that parking the bus?

How can you say England would "rip Italy to shreds with our attack" when we can't fashion more than two chances per half against a Ukraine side having about 50% possession?

It's blind optimism.
 
Started well and got worse really, but doing OK. Need a new plan to combat Ukraine’s new formation since the change.
