Terrible defending there, seconds before got a warning about leaving Chiesa too much space but ignored it and the 2nd time got punished, great finish mind

Great finish indeed, when he received the ball I didn't think a chance was on. Also I said Italy's defence isn't what it was but then their stats of late have been great. I don't know who they've played though so could be meaningless.

The diving is bad and the rolling worse, they'd do better if they didn't spend so much time on the floor.

Heart and effort only get you so far - other than the goal that got chalked rightfully off the most dangerous chance they had was that free kick at the edge of the box they wasted.

EDIT - nearly 2-1!

Winner plays Portugal or Belgium so Italy will have to be much better than they have been for most of tonight.
