I dont have an issue with a red being given there. The games long gone at 3-0 90mins and Wales dont have a chance at doing through. The danes are on the break and he slides in from behind cynically to stop the move. He's got no eyes for the ball and is just taking the man out. It's not needed, it's a **** move really and was probably more for a screw you than trying to prevent any goal.Not having that red card for Wilson, it was a lazy frustrated 'tackle' (foul) that should have got a yellow but it wasn't particularly dangerous, I think the ref just decided he was going to come down hard on a deliberate foul without really considering the severity of the actual foul.
That's how i would read it anyway. If you do that in the middle of a 0-0 game you're getting a yellow but do it in the dying minutes of a thrashing you're just being a ***** trying to cause trouble or injury.
