We'll probably win the group, go against a 3rd best placed team and might sneak through that. Then either Switzerland/Spain/Italy in the quarters and probably go out. Par (all things considered) with little to be positive about.
Yeah because it got so much better in the second half didn't it.
Not playing like complete **** would be a start.

England favourites going into this tournament was always an utter joke. We just never learn the difference between prem players surrounded by the best the world has to offer, and a team of English prem players.

I don’t think changing the players would make a difference Tbh, it’s the system and set up
Only caught the last 20 mins but that looked so bad. Basic errors all over the place, complete lack of any tempo, no desire to really do anything. Thank god it's a **** group but this isn't good enough to seriously challenge the top teams.
Chasing shadows a lot of the game due to poor ball retention.

Gary is a really underrated striker tbh. He is up there genuinely as one of the best we have had.
I hope the England players watch this back.

It's like Southgate looks at that final against Italy and thought even though they lost the performance England gave was a validation of his tactical skill as a coach.
