UEFA Europa League 30/1 November/December *** Spoilers ***

0-2 too easy for them. I was worried about the rustiness but I didn't think they'd be this bad! Bassong is a shadow of the player we bought, his heart isn't in it anymore... I'd rather see a youngster given a chance.

PAOK down to 10 men and a penalty to Spurs for a handball on the line. It looked a really harsh decision; not even 100% sure it's hit his arm, let alone intentionally.

Got to say, I don't think that hits his arm! I thought it looked like it hit his upper thigh and then his side!

I think even if it's completely accidental, if the ball hasn't crossed the line due to it hitting an arm, then it's handball.

But I just don't think it's hit his arm in this instance! It doesn't move like it's hit his arm - it moves out instead of down, and also if it hits his forearm then surely it would subsequently move a lot slower!

Tbh I don't think it was a red card but the ref's have to follow the letter of the law. He stopped a certain goal with his arm, that's for sure so it's a penalty, so he has to go?

Are you joking? He stopped the ball from going in the net with his arm. Straight red and a pen no questions.

Handball has to be intentional. At best it's deflected off his thigh onto his arm (not intentional) and at worst it hasn't hit his arm at all.

edit: Replays at HT show it hasn't hit his arm.
