Exactly. Even with a dead player on the pitch he's still playing Defoe on. Freekick wasn't given so goal should stand.

If the laws of the game were being observed then POAK would have had a free-kick for the foul by Defoe and would still have 11 men on the pitch

To give an offside though was ridiculous.

edit: Maybe the lino spotted the foul and the ref's given that and not the offside. Took their time if so.
