UEFA Europa League 30/1 November/December *** Spoilers ***

Terrible reffing. First spurs goal was never a penalty or a red card. If you shoot at goal and it hits the defender's arm at that close a range, tough luck. Has to be deliberate. Second took him forever to call for the foul.

We wouldn't score if we played until next week... one of them nights
Should have played your first team, eh? Only chance of a trophy this season blown, eh?

Shame, should have been shooting from outside the area imo.

Be a miracle if we get through now, good exp for the younger guys.

But lets be honest, spurs are 100% focused on the league and going out of europa is no skin of our backs really. 3rd or a semi in europa? I know what I would take.

That doesn't make sense? Rules say if you stop a goal with your arm, its a penalty and a straight red, the ref followed the letter of the law.

The defence was poor in the first half, Gallas and Bassong looked so far off match fitness it was unreal and Danny Rose is not a left back. PAOK defended brilliantly when down to 10 men and our main striker, Defoe, never looked like scoring.

Remember we couldn't use Adebeyor, Van der Vaart, Friedel, King and Parker, so with the players out injured, probably the only other two first teamers who could have come in were BAE and Kaboul.

No one is taking any shots. No shots no goals. Every time the play the ball forward they run back with it..... rinse and repeat.

This was very evident and very annoying.

I'm a bit confused as to what Harry's intentions were.. If was serious about this competition then why bring on the 1st team players > 45 minutes before it's nearly too late... Why not use them in earlier rounds to get the points in bag then rest? Otherwise he should have stuck to his guns or at least started with Bale and Walker (what a player he is :) )

Another thing is how it highlighted our Achilles heel. Should anything happen to our current back four, the likes of Gallas, Bassong and even Dawson to some extent just aren't good enough. We need to off load Bassong and bring in a long term replacement for King.. I'm not saying replace him.. but should he be injured, we really have no natural authoritative replacement CB. :(

i don't understand the concentrating on the league to the extent we do. if e qualify for cl next season, are we going to go about it the same way as we did europa or play our strongest team in cl and sacrifice them the weekend before/after in the prem? there's a definite chance adebayor wont be with us, a good chance modric or bale wont be either and friedel will be knocking on 42! i hope redknapp and levy are on the same page.

The team Spurs put out were just rusty, they all are valuable squad players, I'm unconvinced about Livermore's long term prospects though, he's just not quite good enough.

No they don't.

The rules say if you stop the ball with your arm deliberately it's a foul (and then of course the red card for denying the goal). However, the bloke didn't do it intentionally, and if it's not deliberate, it's just bad luck. Like hitting a dodgy patch of grass or a beach ball.

Andy Johnson, what a muppet..1-0 down and gets sent off in the 92nd minute. Have to win the next game or we're out vs Odense.

How about denying a goalscoring opportunity?
