Fair point. Must be a tough time for Benfica fans, I think they lost out on the Primera Liga title by a late goal on the weekend also?
I don't think Benitez has ever given a **** what people think of him. What's amazing is how he's managed a somewhat unbalanced squad over so many games without any real drop in form.

Sorry but Chelsea played TERRIBLE against Barca and Bayern that was pure luck nothing else. Ill give credit to them tonight though weren't great but got the job done Benfica offered very little up front.

Definitely... I don't see how you can say otherwise. Bayern and barca might have done some things better than Chelsea, but not playing football, that's for sure. Maybe they passed more and had more shots but Chelsea scored more than them... Barring refereeing decisions, the team who scores the most always plays better imo.... even if they win 1-0 by a total fluke off someone's arse
I can totally see why people might think differently to me, but I think I would still say played better tbh. I'm a believer in goals being quite important
... And If a team scores more than the other, they have played better imo

Deserved to win either game is rather generous imo anyway. They played defensively, fine, they had worse teams each game, but they were absolutely dominated and it was the other teams playing poorly, not Chelsea playing well, that got them through. Gomez missed what, at least 3 good chances in the final? Robben missed a penalty and Drogba only scored from a corner... As for the Barca games, well Barca (Messi?) just couldn't finish their dinner, that's all that got Chelsea through, saying they deserved it is imo just so, so generous.
Why the **** would he not lift it? He had an ankle injury and played in the Europa League previously.
Such ballbags. Was anyone criticising Rooney on the weekend? No.
