We seem to have the only good keeper, maybe that is why we're doing so well. Earps seems fairly solid, can actually jump and catch the ball

No idea. I know little to nothing about the womens game.
That’s the only thing wrong with the game, the goalies are not as agile or big as the mens so they get beat by shots that their male counterparts save with ease.

Yeah it’s always been the goalies for years and dunno why really.
You can watch the outfield play and on the face of it it’s good enough at this level to pass off as decent entertainment. Just like watching womens tennis where you know it’s nowhere near as fast or powerful as the mens but it’s watchable and you appreciate the skill.
But then you see the keepers and it’s like you’re watching soccer aid! I think it’s easy to blame the size of the women v the men but quite often even the fundamentals aren’t there.

The effort and passion has put the mens team to shame. No knuckle dragging fans also, which is always a bonus.

Was at the opening game in Manchester with my daughter... "No knuckle dragging fans also" definitely made a difference to viewing (with a young daughter).

It isn't really their fault though. They should make the goals smaller. The Swedish keeper is 179 which is incredibly short for a man.
Trying to find a woman that is a) tall and b) good at football must be extremely tough.
Even Pickford is 6ft 1/185 which is short for a keeper.
It's a bit of a dilemma though re: goal posts.
a) Make the goal posts smaller and people that knock the women's game will use it to diminish it as not as good as the men's.
b) Keep the goals the same and as long as women are smaller on average than men, then women goalkeepers will continue to struggle to get to the corners. It's only going to get worse as the outfield is just getting better, and better, and better.
