this case can hold a 12 inch X 11 inch mobo so i have read and the Rampage III Extreme is 12" x 10.6" should fit
Oh my i can fell a buy button coming on....now to find out if the expantion slots on the back of the case will fit using xfire slots on the mobo
the rIIIe is not longer than a normal atx just wider (normal atx is 12" x 9.6")
sooooo all the slots should line up. IM thinking the same i want to use slot 1 and 3 for my 5870s
bah i would need new Ram also as my blue patriot stuff would just look gash in there.
hmmmmm i can here the plastic fantastic in my wallet calling me once again after i jsut paid it off too.

Rofl im the same i have blue patriot that go with my ud5...maybe i can sell my antec 1200 with ud5 and ram as bundle in the mm lol
Ok, here goes with some pictures of the black version.
Please note that I have some tidying to do and the original black fan on the H50 radiator was not visible but having added a 2nd fan and a shroud to the rad my enermax fan stands out like a sore thumb. I will either remove the shroud or replace the lower fan with a black one. I also want to replace the anti kink uv stuff on the pipes with a different colour or remove it all together. I would like a nice brushed metal dvd drive to match the front too.
The 280 gtx has since been replaced by a 295 and the side window is usually just clear but I cut another one out of some acrylic and etched it.
Excuse the mess of the cables behind the motherboatd tray. I'll tidy them at some point!
Hopefully the pictures give you some idea though anyway. Just not in racy red I know!!! I actually like the red interior but I'm still very happy with the case in general.

that looks awesome.
With mine they include a couple of brackets for fitting a radiator across the bottom above two of the fans. This can cause problems with longer gfx cards though. I would presume you'd get the same brackets with the red and black version but perhaps OcUK could confirm?
Other than the corsair H50 a standard 120mm rad will also fit at the top. (corsair is a little slimmer, I tested with a swiftech)

Can this now fit a 5970 graphics card?
I remember there being a rev 1.1/delay on them at the beginning too make it longer for the long cards but it apparantly didnt happen ?

200 quid, it damn right better fit it lol. case is probably aimed at high end gamers so its bound to fit it.
about the wires you could buy those thingys that stick to the backsode of the plate and route them through it to hold them up a little, perhaps route them around a few so its even neater they stick on but i have no idea what they are called or where you get them
very nice case though, i had my eye on the corsair 800D but having 4 120mm on the top and only one intake puts me off a little as 4 apaches are not cheap! why corsair did not fit more fans on the bottom like this is beyond me as it seems so much better to have 3 fans at the top and 3 at the bottom instead of the usual side to side venting as hot air rises.
the one bad thing about this case is the size of those fans and replacing them, how do they stack up to black apaches for noise and airflow?
also if it had sata hotswaps i think id be in case heaven!

it depends on what kind of fanboy you are i guess
all red ATI rig with a red neon in that sexy case mmmmm sexy indeed.or how about black + green neon for those intel nvidia fanboys?
It's an ideal case for anyone looking for something a bit unique and with a window on the right side so they can position their case on the left side of the desk
