Shame it didn't take out the entire bridge.
Maybe leave Ukraine
Wow I grew up in the 70's impending nuclear war and doom never crossed my mind.......
But that bridge explosion wowzers.
You've rather missed the point - Putin will likely use nuclear weapons to stop this from happening.
I can only assume that many of posters here are rather detached from the reality of what is happening (pro-tip - what happens in the news is not just a picture on your screen.)
Instead of a reasoned response, I get rolling with laughter emojis, which says a lot about the level of the debate.
Maybe you were living under a rock? To be honest, I'm not sure how you could have missed it...
I think I'll leave you armchair warriors to it - I'm out.
We still can’t back down even if nukes are used. Putin won’t think thank goodness for that the west has gone away. He will go now I’ve found their weak spot and will dial it up to 11.You've rather missed the point - Putin will likely use nuclear weapons to stop this from happening.

I haven't missed the point, I think giving Putin what he wants isn't really the way out of it, we've seen that with Crimea already. He will always want more. You've rather missed the point - Putin will likely use nuclear weapons to stop this from happening.

Lol you gotta admire modern Russian "engineering".
The Antonivskyi bridge has withstood months if constant himars attack on a single spanning section and not collapsed and this house of cards folds after one fuel car explosion?
Doubt it's a missile, probs Ukrainian special forces having placed specific explosives under key points and timed it for when the fuel train passed over.
The fact they managed to get men and explosives in and under the bridge when it was meant to have absolute Russian military protection is hilarious.
This was Putin's pride and joy. A perfect birthday present!
From what i could tell from various pictures the columns underneith the bridge are not completely intact where the explosion hit.Unfortunately yes.
Difference here is that it was the Soviets during the 50s-80s. They were trying to protect their whole ideology. Today the Russians are a kleptocracy run by people trying to protect their bank accounts with a former kgb guy pining for the past while enjoying the billionaire lifestyle himself. You've rather missed the point - Putin will likely use nuclear weapons to stop this from happening.

Don't be a coward and leave because people don't agree with you. You've rather missed the point - Putin will likely use nuclear weapons to stop this from happening.

My guess is that Crimea is the red line that triggers a nuclear response from Russia. The Russian military there can no longer resupply or retreat and most likely faces total destruction.
We should all be a lot more concerned than we seem to be.
Quick, to the forums, the Crimea bridge is down...
(I was excited checking Twitter too, though you guys have all gotten up earlier than me on a Saturday! LOL)
Would love to see Putin's reaction to this news while he's opening his Birthday cards!![]()
What do you think Nuclear weapons will achieve for Putin and what do you think it risks for him?
