Not a lot of evidence of the `significant number`, Chechans are fighting on both sides - they have been since 2014 and of recent >> https://www.vice.com/en/article/5dgjn8/chechnya-fighters-ukraine-russia-ramzan-kadyrov . Wagnar is to Russia as Blackwater is to the USA; a deniable asset but have access to the very best `toys`. You also seem to forget that ORYX has been identifying which units have been involved since day 1, with their methodology available to read - https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2022/02/attack-on-europe-documenting-equipment.html , Russia also dont have as many T80`s as you think and have lost in excess of 280 of them >> https://www.fpri.org/article/2022/0...ry-aims-in-the-war-in-ukraine-after-100-days/ , they are also a very expensive tank to operate , once reason the T90 was made (similar history to the T62> T72 and T64>T80 and costs). No Russia isnt sitting on a huge armada of forces waiting for the hammer blow

Plenty of evidence for significant numbers - people just seem to have quickly forgotten it and/or it doesn't mesh with what they want to believe.

I've several sources with a good overview of units, etc. deployed to Ukraine and keep an eye on the stuff Oryx posts - but that doesn't mean they are being deployed at full strength as some seem to believe.

I'm not just pulling this stuff out my behind - for instance I said Russia was targetting power infrastructure with these strikes overnight before reports like this started to come in https://twitter.com/COUPSURE/status/1579465601231507457

I have to agree that I don’t think the Ukrainian authorities are doing themselves any favours with the childish trolling. It’s not a joke.

Too bad, Ukraine wants thier territory back, no one gets a say other than them.

What nations are benefiting ?
We'll I'd say that the countries supplying them with weapons that have allowed them to push back against Russia have a say in how they are used and could also force them to a negotiated settlement if it ensured there wasn't nuclear war. Without western equipment and ammunition Ukraine wouldn't have survived the first few weeks, they literally didn't have enough small arms ammo.

The official line is that a combined Belarusian/Russian force will be reinforcing the border with Poland. We'll have to wait and see where these guys end up, but I think an attack on Kyiv is unlikely.

They might just have yet another go at Poland - and sod the NATO reply

See Perun as to WHY Russia isnt hiding a sledge hammer of trained professional units. They need to mobilise and stop loss, as the USA did in its own Afghan adventure

That would raise a lot of questions as to why, if it was the case, they felt the need to reinforce the border with a mixed force.

I'm fully aware of the stuff Perun posts.

News about troop movements in Belarus could also be a deliberate strategy just so that Ukraine has to keep a large enough force near the northern border to repel any potential attack.

Guess they could try and provoke Poland but don't really see the point...

Not sure why Kylew causes such a stir of insults? That's cult level reaction. Either debate him or ignore him and I'm glad I saw some people trying to counteract his arguments.
Tbf it's hardly the first time he's come into the thread with some hot take not based in reality at all. He's all about NATO and 'nazis' being the aggressors rather than Russia, saying Russia's plan is to weaken Europe economically and it's working, that Russia is successfully tricking Ukraine with its tactics and could steamroller them with 20m men with modern weapons if they really wanted etc... Might get a better response if he was able to back up some of his claims and didn't make them so assertively, when they are clearly so counter to what both established western institutions, media, and open source intelligence are saying (also many people on the ground). It cannot be ignored the things he says match quite closely with propaganda coming out of a repressive, murderous, and aggressive regime, and therefore if he keeps posting in the same style without ever conceding he might be mistaken or being able to back any of it up then some people are going to start treating him like a troll.

Looks like Russia is going to take a 2nd crack at Kyiv then.

Possibly but they'd have an even worse time than last time around given a load of their elite units were obliterated and they're reliant on conscripts etc. now.

It does tie up Ukrainian troops regardless, perhaps an attempt to try to stop Ukraine from feeling confident enough to launch another Kharkiv style offensive into Zaporizhia Oblast while also fighting in Kherson.

A Belarus civil war or indeed some more internal dissent in Russia would be very useful around now.

Yet you deny it The same arguments Perun uses about Russia can easily apply to the UK. On paper the UK has 386 CHallenger 2. 227 `operation` and the rest stored. In reality, the UK couldn`t fully field 3 regiments worth (168) at TES, at best it would be half that. The same fudging of numbers exists in Russia. Vast fleets of the latest and best kit cost money to maintain - at least the UK stick then in sheds, russia just put them in scrap yeards.
