If you check my past posts you will find me having described him as a "druggie", and in so far as one can have a personal opinion of someone one has never met, I rather dislike him. But that doesn't mean i consider his every action self serving, despicable and contemptible.

I think his main distinguishing feature that draws such hatred by some here is that he has various right leaning opinions and sympathies, which is anathema.
But you're also a recovering druggie and far right supporter.

Putin:
- Events in Ukraine Have No Impact on Relations With CIS Countries
- Germany Is Making Mistake by Siding With NATO in Ukraine
- No Decision From Germany on One Line of Nord Stream 2, That’s Not Our Business
- We Are Thankful to Turkey’s Erdogan for His Role in Ukraine Mediation, Prisoners Swaps
- U.N Gen Sec Is Working on Ukraine Grain Exports, but He Is Not Completely Successful yet
- India and China Are Talking About Peaceful Dialogue in Ukraine
- We Respect Their Position, but We Know That Kyiv Decided Not to Proceed With Talks
- We Are Open for Talks, We Have Always Said This
- If Kyiv Is Ripe for Talks, Then Mediation Efforts Would Be Required
- No Decision on Attending G20 Summit
- I See No Need for Talks With Biden
- If It Turns Out That Humanitarian Corridors for Ukraine Grains Are Used for Terror Acts, Then There Is No Need for Such Corridors
- No Plans for Additional Military Mobilization in Russia
- Military Mobilisation Is Finishing
- In Next Two Weeks Mobilisation Will Be Over
- It’s Impossible to Hold the Front by Using Only Contracted Servicemen, That’s Why We Announced Mobilisation
- 16,000 Mobilised Are Already Engaged in Military Tasks
- What Is Happening Today Is Unpleasant, but We Are Doing What’s Right
- Task Is Not Destroying Ukraine
- Asked if He Has Regrets, Says “No”
- No Need for Massive Strikes on Ukraine Now
- That’s for Now, but We Will See
- Direct Clash of NATO Troops With Russia Would Lead to Global Catastrophy
- I Hope Those Who Make Decisions Will Not Decide so

Recovering? You need to check my bin on collection day, I am still very partial to alcohol, which is what I assume you are referring to.

But I remain a far right supporter with no desire to change allegiance nor "recover" from. :)

LOL Kazakhstan might have different ideas there...

The grain thing is interesting, apparently, the current Russian claim is that the bridge thing was caused by explosives shipped out of Ukraine as a result of that corridor then shipped via some third-party countries - Armenia and Georgia into Russia.

The massive strikes thing is perhaps blatantly a lack of missiles, they simply can't sustain that sort of thing, several dozen fired in one evening is a huge depletion of their stockpile, according to this they have relatively few Iskanders left and the cruise missiles would quickly run out within a few days of them attempting to continue mass deep strikes like that. no wonder they've had to rely on things like anti-ship missiles or using S300s in ground attack mode etc.

Nicotine as well, unless I am mistaken.

I wonder if extreme political beliefs are linked to drug use? All of those hangovers and withdrawal symptoms must shape your beliefs somewhat.

This graph is incredibly hard to read. Are they saying they have 609 remaining?

Reminds me of some sort of 'Inventory' screen on a computer game. Maybe Putin should bring down the console on his PC and activate 'Unlimited Iskanders'.

That's an interesting thought, but i don't believe that to be the case with my political beliefs as I held them long before partaking of either nicotine or alcohol. I don't believe that the correlation is sound in my case.

I did notice than when the legalisation of cannabis was discussed somewhat heatedly in this forum, the main protagonists supporting it were well known strongly left leaning forum members, so the idea certainly has some merit. Who knows...? Degree course?

If musk removes service in Ukraine that will forever tar him.
The ability to communicate and use star link is one of the key parts of Ukraine’s success.

I used to like him but over the years he’s gotten more and more unhinged.

While I am no fan of Musk, he is facing some tough fiscal decisions on this issue.

'Elon Musk: SpaceX can't fund internet in Ukraine "indefinitely".'

Elon Musk said Friday that his company SpaceX can't "indefinitely" fund critical internet service in Ukraine through Starlink terminals.

Why it matters: The terminals have provided internet service for Ukraine's military and government officials, even as Russia's invasion has ravaged the country's infrastructure.

Driving the news: Musk said in a tweet Friday that SpaceX “is not asking to recoup past expenses” for the Starlink program.

  • But the company can’t “fund the existing system indefinitely” while also providing more terminals, he said, adding that the Starlink terminals have a data usage "100x greater than typical households."
  • “This is unreasonable,” Musk tweeted.

Even if he wanted to fund it indefinitely, I doubt his shareholders would be happy with that, so the decision is not entirely in his hands.
