Its how usa aid works; send old stuff, they get the new stuff
It doesn't always work like that, I.E during the Falklands they were recalling batches of cutting edge AIM-9L missiles that had already been delivered to the US air force/navy in order to supply us because the production rate wasn't high enough to meet our combat demands. The US can be very benevolent when it suits it.

In this case, the US have spent ~5% of their 2022 defence budget on aiding Ukraine, and in result Russia's ability to conduct conventional warfare has been reduced by ~50%, militarily speaking it was the biggest bargain of the millennium.

Apparently Bradleys scored more kills on T72 tanks in the gulf war than the M1 Abrahams did.
The interesting thing about this is that the Bradley and the T-72 were both designed around the same time, but unlike the T-72 which has had minor improvement after minor improvement (The T-90 is just an upgraded T-72 variant, they renamed it T-90 i the 1990s to make it more appealing to export buyers) the Bradley has had significant upgrades throughout it's testing/production history (it didn't originally have a turret, it was supposed to be America's answer to the BMP-1).

So what started out as an APC ended up being upgraded so much it effectively became a light tank that by the early 90s was wrecking MBTs of the same era. Granted Iraq's T-72 were export variant with weaker armour and missing systems but the Bradley has been upgraded a lot more since then so the performance gap compared to the T-72s Russia is using in Ukraine will be about the same.

So that’s the oligarchs living in UAE and HK banned then..

Russian law only applies to whom they want it to. If the laws applied equally to everyone then Putin would be in a jail cell right now because he broke the law he called the war a war instead of a special operation which illegal under Russian law his government passed

Just send them already all this deliberating is boring now, it's about time Ukraine had all it can get to end this war.
How long will it take the crews to learn and operate them?

Unless I'm missing the point here.

You can't "unleash" a new weapon without training?

No quick fix etc

edit Logistics of getting the hardware over is another thing..

And yet the UK giving aid to India, why are we supporting them when they have a space program and buy Russian oil? Is it because we are afraid all the it/helplines will go down :p
Britain needs a trade deal with India due to Brexit so has to pay them off

How do you explain the fact that Britain was paying aid to India well before Brexit?
It's very simple, the British government gives "aid" money to India, the Indian government gives lucrative "contracts" to British companies, British companies give "contributions" to the party in government.

Interesting, so Russia has lost over 40% of its pre war active tank fleet.

Ouch.
Worth noting too that those pre war numbers come from western guessimates that were made in a time when Russia's ability to maintain/repair it's stuff was held in higher regard. The real percentage may be higher (or lower, both before/after numbers are only educated guesswork).
