To be fair, the misses is now buying our cats food which is 100% meat, delivered to us and must be refrigerated. It's 40% more expensive that what we used to pay from Tesco and is fit for human consumption. Little ****ers.

Dunno what this is about - I noticed there was a US P-8 maritime patrol aircraft taking an especially close interest on the area the last couple of days - even more so than their usual patterns.
EDIT: Also a RAF Rivet Joint was sniffing around the area today - they'd mostly stopped doing that.

Indeed, but freedom of speech is one of my hobbyhorses: I think it's better to let him speak so that he can be damned with his owned words.
This will be good for their ability to stop Russian missiles.
However one has to wonder how well a western SAM system with a reputation for friendly fire incidents involving NATO aircraft is going to integrate with an air force that uses entirely Soviet made planes.

I spot at least one Steve in there!
One of the reasons neither side are using aircraft much is due to the proliferation of mobile anti-air systems not well integrated - been a fair few friendly shoot downs (drones and aircraft) on both sides from MANPADS and SPAAG systems.

Not sure all that stuff is going to Ukraine, or decisions have been made not announced yet, in the full panning shot of the parked up vehicles there is all kinds of stuff including various different MBT variants and other hardware not announced.

Hopefully the family at least get closure and return of remains.
Should buy them all back and send them straight to Ukraine tbh.

I think most likely that stuff will backfill replacements for the Leopard 2's that Ukraine hopefully get sent...
