I've seen the aftermath video, they're actually wearing RU gear and taping (there's some dead Russians mixed with the Ukrainians) so I think this is probably a case of surprise and a lack of experience for the Ukrainians positioned there, which isn't surprising given they have to rotate and there are people with only a few months training on both sides
Thanks. I watched it a few times, and I couldn't see any of the living Russian's with marking tape. (not that they have to wear it obviously). I'm curious what the guy was wearing that tried to surrender them. Apparently they were a bit shell shocked from a blast as well.

Mobniks try to unfreeze the river in their trench using their ak47

Claims in the comments the video is old - no idea if true.

Even in WW1 they quickly learnt how to deal with that kind of stuff heh.

Quite a bit of export spec/model equipment has been cropping up lately - at least 3 destroyed T-90S and several artillery systems newly spotted on the battlefield amongst other stuff. Several train loads of T-80 and 90 tanks spotted moving towards Ukraine in Russia and Belarus - some are trying to claim the videos are from late 21/early 22 but Russia wasn't moving T-90s through Belarus at that time.

Ukraine need man power. They can't sustain massive losses to the Zerg. UKR need to make some more decisive victories like previously. Cutting off the ground towards metiopol (spelling), would be a darn good move, and the Russian's will start to panic about CRY-ME-ARGGGHHHH and be forced to make a choice with their forces.

This they need to push another front and Melitopol would be a good one, this worked well before pushing manpower from Russia to another front messed them up but now they can throw all there resources to Bakhmut it causing Ukraine to be over run its very sad.

My impression is they're pushed back slowly while killing Zerg, not run over.

Getting the C1`s from Jordan would do well - they have 270 in storage and rotating out the rest once replacements come in from France.

The only place Russian tanks are effective.
They need to add Ukrainian tractors to the game, they would make a fortune selling premium ukraine tractors, Only one crew member needed, they just get behind it and tow it away.

It would be a lot more realistic than the crap tanks the USSR turned out to have.

Take your pick, there's no standard issue for Wagnerites, camo mostly the same but some prefer that bulky body armour vs lighter stuff I guess for mobility, he could have been wearing a helmet similar to the Ukrainians that he'd either bought or picked up on his battles, might go some way to explaining their confusion of him being one of theirs

Apparently one of those "Ukrainians" who was shot was actually a wagner recruit, at least according to this source which has identified them.

If so, this just goes to show that dressing up as the enemy is not only a war crime but it's also very risky for your own safety.

I think that's unlikely to be true, there's further footage of multiple Ukranian KIAs at the site. The whole thing seems such a ridiculous tragedy achieving nothing. Putin needs a to find a window to fall out of,

Impossible to tell from such low quality

The Russian Army has managed to destroy a Polish AHS Krab self-propelled howitzer in Ukraine with the use of 2 lancet suicide drones. Fortunately, the crew survived.
Footage of it on Twitter if interested, pretty surprising the crew survived given the inferno it turned into
