Ukraine is not a member of NATO, So I don't understand why we need to get in to this war with America again! If UK cut off Russia we will lose trade net worth £15.9bn a year plus Gas 51%, Crude Oil 9.3%. Refined oil 24.1%, Other business services imported from Russia 46.5%. The EU will lose €174.3 billion and Oil 27%, Gas 41%, Coal 47%

Boris Johnson announcement said if Russia puts one bootstep across Nato territory, we are all at war with Russia. Every single one, every single member of the Nato alliance? Ukraine is not a member yet what a dick does Boris live on the same planet!.

Samuel Tombs, chief UK economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, said if the jumps in oil, gas and electricity products on Thursday are sustained, it could push inflation to 8.2% in April.

I keep seeing posts like this, and I genuinely wonder what you'd have the West do? Any kind of military escalation is as good as the end of the world, so all we can really do is sanctions...Putin is not messing around

Western intelligence have been saying for months this will happen, our government have been briefing such for at least the last 6 weeks, they do trust their own intelligence, nobody has been taken for a fool here, we knew fine well what was going to happen, its the slowest train wreck in history. However to do anything with military force would be to pull NATO into a new world war. What did you expect to happen?

Strange. If Russia has the airport, where are Ukraine's missiles and artillery to bomb the crap out of the airport? They are supposed to have a crap ton of it.

I have seen that certain sites aren't reporting Ukraine movements etc... but so far we haven't really any/much resistance of any kind. Where are these 800 tanks that some in this thread were arguing about a few days ago.

History repeating itself? Germany took Czech (Crimea) and promised to not invade Poland. (Ukraine).

What has Putin got to lose? People like him want to go down in history. Material things do not matter to him.

2 years ago no one would have predicted a pandemic yet it happened.

I have the same opinion as others that I don't think Putin would go after a NATO country, but if he did, I sure would expect the entire NATO to defend that country....it's the raison d'etre of the organisation.

If it didn't then, well.....it would really be SHTF time.
