From the videos coming out of Kharkiv and areas north west of Kyiv this morning seems like Russia forces are starting to advance more tactically with dismounted infantry and better use of mechanized forces - possibly more regular forces than what has been seen so far as there is a higher presence of VDV (airborne forces) - could be a tougher day ahead for Ukraine.

Sounds like focus has shifted to the East, is the next step to "give up" on Kyiv an claim the mission to be a "success" after annexing Donbas

They’ve upped the ante everywhere but the west of the country unfortunately. A lot more troops and vehicles on the outskirts of Kyiv now too but it’s not encircled yet.

Putin wouldn’t get away with just capturing those eastern areas and then pulling out.

The lefties don't like the truth.

Or you know maybe he just wasn't ready yet? Considering the mess of the first few days I'm liable to believe that more than Trump being the issue.

But for the sake of argument, if Trump was a reason for not doing it sooner then what stops him from waiting until 2025 to do it instead? After all the damage that Trump's second term would have caused to Europe's ability to trust US policy, I think Putin would have been just fine with it.

Either way, it's a minefield of hypotheticals and completely academic to the current reality we now live in.

Right and? Then they just go to another country where its still tradable.

The better actions would be to flag Russian held cryptos and once they hit exchanges / brokers seize them.

If the top 25 global exchanges in the US, EU, and East Asia agreed to end user withdrawals, then that would effectively bifurcate the system.

The governments could use a new unrealized gains tax on Bitcoin.

I hope the west ban crypto now.
This will stop the russians getting easy money.

In what way could they can crypto?

Before you even attempt to answer, and notwithstanding the huge technological barriers to banning cryptocurrency, you should take a minute to digest the fact that there's currently an estimated $1.8 trillion in the market and it's not all Russian money.

If you want to ban crypto in order to hit the Russians then you might as well ban dollars as a lot of Russians hold them, too.

Looking like the Russians have lost their Tigrs that went into Kharkiv and are now on foot trying to fight their way out of the city.

Not sure what the truth is in Kharkiv - seems a bigger mechanized force overall has pushed to the centre and for now has a commanding position but mixed reports.

The Heroes of Ukraine that we have witnessed so far during this conflict should definitely team up for their ultimate version.

The Slavengers

Ukrainian Reaper
Ghost of Kiev
Ass Bandit of Odessa
The Ukrainian Pooper
Spider-Slav
Iron Man of Kiev

These crypto banners are just deluded or they have still got the hump over not being able to get a graphics card at a decent price.

It’s not fair to ban crypto when hundreds of thousands of ordinary people have a lot of their money in it. Why should good folk suffer financial harm because of the whims of a madman.
Anyway, bitcoin is actually being used to crowdfund for Ukraine. Over £7m has been raised so far.

Doesn't quite tally up with other news and messages I've recieved from friends and colleagues who are there. But hey ho, I guess your intelligence is sound.
