Also, let us remember what happens when we enable the economies of forever dictators who restrict free press. If we are not careful China will be the next one doing this.

If the Aussie press is anything to go by (which is also seriously questionable tbh) then China's already pointing many explody things at Taiwan.

Yes, but it's still trash tier journalism. Another option is Putin dies on the toilet tonight but we know the odds.

I still find the posts "he never would....." amusing.

That and people vastly underestimate what effect having mental illness(es) can have on one and their mind, it has been strongly suggested that Putin has Parkinson's as well as questions around his mental health in general.

So the Russians are to some extent laying down their arms , the 40 mile convoy has got stuck with no fuel or food, reports of soldiers punching holes in fuel tanks so they can't go any further.

So unfortunately there could be a barage with what they've got and then massive supply issues.

Seems odd

Why would you shoot satellites down from a destroyer, I didnt think anyone had realistically anything planet based to shoot satellites
I think it depends on the height but there missiles that can hit some “low” orbit sats.
As far why, spy satellites and gps (or that nations version) satellites since a number of military hardware needs that stuff for effectiveness

Here ya go.
Derby Hiroshima 15kt
Nottingham Nagasaki 20kt

Definately the biggest fun bags for me please ;)

Ok so what happens when dust settles do Ukraine get there country back after all these sanctions and Putin finally submits?

in the unlikely event Putin retreats, it will be under the guidance that the Ukrain will join NATO, and even if full membership takes time, NATO will install a lot of equipment and arms for protection . The west will likely want to help rebuild the Ukraine as fast as possible.

More likely, i think Russia will overcome the Ukraine which will fall within 1-2 weeks, but they won't surrender. It will become the next vietnam or Afghanistan, and Russia will burn through money and equipment without ever making real progress. the sanctions will stay in place and in fact become more severe. Unlike the US military failures, Ruddia wont be able to survive economically for so long, certainly not the 5-20 years of Vietnam/Afghanistan. Probably no more than 4-6 months. Putin will find it hard to survive another 1-2 months sanctions.

I don't see any scenario where the Ukraine simply capitulates to Putin's plans.

Could you link to the reports, please?

Whilst that would be fantastic news, it sounds a bit fake.

I didnt know they had got as far as low orbit sats from ground yet.
I thought it was only space to space they were worried about, got a link to something describing them?

There appears to be an arrow from Odessa into Transnistria too

Yup, I did wonder how that would come into play.. I mean they host Russian troops (mostly locally recruited these days since 2014) and share a border... wonder if Ukraine has had much fighting back and forth there yet? Haven't heard anything re: that area.
