If it stops blood shed they really should consider it. Hypothetically speaking that is. Wether it right or wrong is secondary stop the bloodshed should be the first priority, then everything else can care afterwards.

The alternative is the fighting continues indefinitely, more bloodshed, more damage and you’ll still have the same issue but the cans been kicked down the road.

If I was Ukranian now I wouldn't stop until either Russians were subsisting on rats or Putin was gone. There's a price to be paid.

Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, on Thursday insisted Moscow has no plans to introduce martial law or bar young men from leaving Russia.

The above is expected to happen hence why the US said people should leave ASAP.

So the way things have gone, basically whatever Russia say just take the opposite, might be some solace in that for some!
