The thing is Putin will not Attack NATO first, the only way I can see this going for a possible NATO retaliation is if Russia claim false flag by NATO/Ukraine attack (and reason for using more dangerous weapons) or European Hostage from UK / US army going into Ukraine. But we seem to be poking the bear by supplying arms to Ukraine that if they get a UK/ US military hostage we are screwed.

i thought it was just one of a bunch of different markings they were using for logistics.

The fact Putin is willing to have these talks is positive. This whole thing is so desperately sad and only Putin can put a stop to it if he wants. I hope someone talks some sense into him. There are literally zero winners in any of this. None.
