I can't tie it up 100% but looks like Putin was flying Sochi to Moscow when this event supposedly happened - looks like he is currently flying out of Moscow again (assumedly to Uzbekistan).
(Possible the timeline was fudged for security reasons and he was ahead of his supposed movements, etc. though).

I'm reading that there is potential regime change. I have no problem with long threads on twitter. If someone has something interesting to say I'm happy to read it in that format.
His plane headed towards Uzbekistan last night - though disappeared from flight radar mid route (probably nothing sinister). Scheduled for a meeting with Xi.
Personally doubt regime change is on the cards - likely the only way he is going is when they pry it from his cold dead fingers.

Looks like a UK Rivet Joint with US escort heading off for a North Sea mission - likely sniffing around Norway/edge of Russian air space again. Wonder if the timing coincides with Putin being away. (Also got ARTEMIS platform and Guardrails out sniffing about Kaliningrad).

Quite a lot of activity today air wise - B-52s up, US Rivet Joint out over Europe (probably why the UK one is doing the northern run) and so on - not quite a show of force but definitely a reason behind it all.
EDIT: Even more stuff heading out over the North Sea and a full raft of Eastern European and Black Sea region missions - not sure if it is just to put extra pressure on Putin but seems quite busy compared to normal.

China will be re examining their own war book in light of how a western trained army fights - Taiwan would be a heavily contested forced air and naval landing and would need a lot of support from agents on the island itself. Coupled with tank killing from every blade of grass (expect every tank to have active defense very soon)

Norway got 2x P8 Poseidons out and numerous NATO exercises ongoing including a flight of like 20x C-130H from multiple nations over the Netherlands, one of the busiest days I've seen in a long time for military air traffic in general.
Quite odd to see so many Italian air force aircraft running missions over the North Sea launched from the UK and so on - with the Draken Europe stuff up I'm assuming a lot of the activity is training.
More closely related to Ukraine apparently the entirety of the Russian 1st guards which are currently in Ukraine are in disarray - contrary to some of the claims that isn't a 10K strong force but a smaller number of battalions. Apparently have ditched all their heavy equipment and are trying to get back to solidified Russian lines (Kupyansk area where apparently the Russians are dug in hard) using dismounted means i.e. light trucks and civilian cars, etc.

There’s been a lot of nations training in Scotland recently so no doubt from this. If there is a further invasion in Europe then there’s going to be a lot of nations forces fighting that wherever it is happening.
