£££ UK's CHEAPEST 1080TI & ITS A GOOD ONE, ALL BLACK, OVERCLOCKED, TRIPLE FAN & 3YR WARRANTY !!

Corsair didn't make it. CWT did :p

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm

CWT being one of the Chinese OEMs that can be hit-and-miss, and for sure don't have the cast-iron reputation of someone like Seasonic.

I'm aware that Corsair didnt make the PSU. But I'm listing a model name to tell people what I own.

The OEM for my model is Greatwall btw not CWT. The link you provided rates the model highly.

Jonnyguru tested the 750w and 850w models of this psu, both made by greatwall, and gave them glowing reviews. I based my purchasing decision on this and the price at the time. I don't think being chinese made has hurt the tx-m series.

A 1080Ti for £580!

Well its only taken 18mths, but 1080Ti's have finally reached a price they were only ever really worth to begin with...

Man I would like to track down the retard at MSI who thought it was a good idea to downgrade one of the Displayports to HDMI to save money, and kick him in the nuts :P

I remember when 1080s came out shortly after 980tis was 350 that was amazing value at the time. These only seem good value next to the over inflated 2080 series tbh

Not sure this is a great deal just yet. When the 2000 series is released the 1080ti wil probably drop to sub £450 within a month or two and even less for a used one.

Why would it? The 2070, which is slower than this, will start at £569. We might some some 2070 for £500, do you really think nVidia would allow a faster card to be sold for less? It makes no sense, unless there is an external disruption in the market (AMD?). I can see may be £550 or even £500, less than that, I seriously doubt it.

The 1080ti will be old stock and chances are the 2070 may overclock well and come between a 1080 and 1080ti. Many new buyers would probably go for a card with new tech at the same price even if performance is lower. The Nvidia cards are already overinflated due to lack of competition and the mining boom so I would expect prices to drop quicker now that the mining demand has died down.

coil whine isn't the issue for me, I used to only get it when not running vsync (so at like 200fps i'd hear it) - the poor cooling / lack of backplate is tho.
