Ultimate Game Room

That's awesome.
I'm a complete noob to this, how do you get all of them games on there? Are they just downloaded emulators and ROMs?

I notice/think that's a Data East pinball machine. Did you have to do any restoring of it? I think the dot matrix displays are one of the things that broke on 'em. I've been trying to get hold of the Hook one (a la peter pan) from 1992.

Can't find any that aren't broken/need work doing on them that don't cost a fortune, and can't find a reliable source for spares (since maybe there aren't any")

However, if you know of somewhere that has/can get spare bits for those machines I'd love to know.

Keep up the good work (and invite me over for a BBQ)

Actually I had to decide if i wanted Hook or tails. Went with Tails. Friend of mine owns a Billiards and game room Company. He gave me one or the other. Send me an IM and Ill see how much it would cost to replace.. ( would come out and fix, but the flight cost alone would cost more then the pin. )

Hehe, nice, always wondered when my family were going to something with thier garage; its been used as storage for the last 15 years; and tbh, I'm pretty sure it's larger than thier lounge, such a waste of space! (It's not quite as long, but twice as wide)

Your new dream pin cap is amazing! it looks completely real!
I bet it's a good feeling knowing thousands of people are jealous of you :p

Heh. I dont think it's something I'd build for myself, but i'd certainly make sure you were in my circle of friends! :D

Nice work. Really impressive.

Pretty funky, although the number of lights and the noisy arcade machines aren't to my taste - but then that's the whole point of hobby rooms, they're built to your own taste. The point is that you want it like that, personally I'd ban all LEDs from the planet, given half a chance. Tiny bright distractions.

Any idea how much you've spent on it all, over the months?
