Ultima Extreme Crossfire with Vapo looks VERY tempting

is crossfire really that superior to SLi? cause you could have 2 massivly oveclocked 7800GTXs (is an nvidia fanboy)

and what about the akasa eclips case? while you have the moey go for that as it's the most gorgious case i've ever seen *drooles over it* only about £100 with side pannel too

but are you planing on oveclocking the comp dude? because you could fork out for a really smart watercooling system too for £200~£300

Not really a case of Crossfire being superior to SLI ( although I believe it is because it works in any game and I THINK SLI doesn't work in all ) more than the X1900XTX walks over even probably that dual GPU Monster of a card. I say probably based on the fact it's two 7800 GT's on one card... and the XTX will beat two 7800 GTX 512's.

So looks like its the dual core FX60, Mobo + another gb of ram and then adding an x850 xt crossfire master card...

Or maybe 2 x1900 cards and give her my X850 XT

It would be lovely to have two x1900s in crossfire, also go with an FX60 and 2GB of RAM. As for the motherboard, it might be worth holding out for bit if you're planning to go with crossfire for the RD580 chipset boards to be released.

just how much better is the FX60 Dual core than say a 3.46 dual core p4?

Is the DDR400 a bottleneck compared to the DDR2 888 on the p4? is the p4 cpu no good?

I know crosfire isnt available on p4 yet, but surely thats just a matter of time?

Gah sorry should have done you a SLI spec :/ the DFI mobo is about the worst one around for crossfire - sorry. For the record the best current is the Asus ( unless your a mega hardcore overclocker using CPU's which need lots of volts).
