it'll use 2 cards in SLi mode, but you can still use the other 2 slots for extra monitors... so why not splash some more cash on 8 monitors (2 per card) :D

but then you share cpu power, memory bandwidth etc between 2 monitors effectively doubling the calculations the cpu has to do or show the same on each monitor, or run each monitor in low res....

Just a waste of time and money when I have a 43inch dlp screen, why would i need more monitor space....

waste a grand + the vat on 2 cards that are as much use as a healed fanny..

Only if nvidia rest on their laurels and dont make a single card as fast as 2 in the near future, which I doubt...

SLI isnt new, its been a 3dfx trick for years... started with the voodoo cards, no surprise it shows up in their new owners cards
