Assume I'm not going for a gfx card with radiator for a moment (as I said, the basket has changed a bit) would this AIO work with the GA-AB350 Motherboard..?

I think the answer is yes, reading the full specs of the motherboard on the Gigabyte website.

And another (potentially stupid) question: Will the motherboard synch with any RGB enabled graphics card, or only Gigabyte RGB cards?

I've never had a custom PC, always bought from high street stores and last time I bought a PC was 2009 so it's all moved on.

lol, yea been there don't that!

there's plenty of other ways to rbg your rig, so yea I'd personally go with the 'guaranteed to work ram'

that's the only regret I have with my own build. went the 'cheap' route and grabbed some corsair lpx 3200 stuck now on 2933. :(
