Uncharted on the PS3

i have 9 left to get

wont be doing the game on hard or crushing though

just dont find it enjoyable when its to difficult.

Im up to Chapter 15 on hard. It's the bit I hate so I took a break. I know its gonna be impossible because I got really angry with it just on normal. Crushing is going to be stupidly hard.

I am on Chapter 19 now. Not too sure I like the turn it has taken to be honest, but I am still loving the game in general

Only having 1 main gun gets seriously annoying on the later levels- you're constantly chopping and changing guns!

Gameplay wise I liked it a lot, it is a change from the early parts of the game and it forces you to change the way you play the game.

I didn't really like the change when I first played it, but playing it through the second time I really enjoyed that part of the game.

Struggling to get these acheivments:-

Kill five enemies with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire

I have been trying to do it on the first level on easy. When they jump on the boat I shoot them twice in the legs and then run up and deck em - done many more than five but it hasn't registered... does it need to be a punch as sometimes drake kicks them?

Any advice?

I did this quite easy, i used an AK47 and fired from the hip just a quick burst then a normal punch and that did the job for me. I guess just running towards them and firing off a few rounds with the pistol would work just as well.

It's not happening for me!!! Also my mate is playing through drakes and for some reason his trophies wont update when he synchronises em' - any else had this?

Have to be careful not to use a space with an old save game on, i did that and had to redo some of them, think its best to delete (or move) your old saves and start a new save before you start this game.

Lol, funny you should say that. I have just realised that I have saved over my half completed game on HARD.... bugger! Gonna have to start it again now

Mine was worse. After loading the update it didn't show up my old games!! I only wanted to play the game on crushing. I completed it from scratch in the last couple of days again and got most trophies I think, 3 hours through I decided to delete the old game saves from the Game data utility and deleted my new save!) Now Crushing is enabled I will give that a try this week.

just bought this game, played the demop when it came out but hated the aiming system as im a mouse man. anyway seen a few reviews lately and decided to get it as it is platinum now. wow woahsome game, clocked it in two days on hard, now playing it on crushing.

biggest thing is i cant believe im actually getting to grips with the aiming on a pad. i detested it before and thought i would never bother with such games that require you to aim with the sticks. even dwnloaded the demo bad company which is a proper fps and got on with it.

Set the difficulty to Easy to allow Drake to simply run straight at the pirates as they board the boat. With the intended pirate directly in front of Drake, press R1 to shoot without aiming. When performed correctly, Drake shoots the pirate in the lower torso. As you reach the enemy, press Square to see Drake deliver a one-punch kill. Line Drake up with the next pirate and repeat. Once you have killed five pirates in a row you will be awarded this medal. If you have not yet been awarded the Steel Fist medal, you will earn it either before or at the same time as this one.
Note: The best weapon to use for obtaining this medal is the default handgun. It can be tempting to give Drake a hand-cannon, but this will instantly kill the pirates and therefore defeats the point of the medal. The PM - 9mm is all that Drake needs for this challenge.

Use the above, it may help it may take more than one bullet to get there health down enough, but experiment

Excellent, cheers for that it worked a treat.

Anyone know if restarting a level will still count for the Survivor (kill 50 enemies without dying) medal?

not sure, but this is actually quite easy to get near the end of the game (chapters 18 & 19).

I will probably try those on easy once I have completed it on hard then. I only have a few more trophies to go now so gonna keep plugging away at it until I get the Platinum one
