Well, I got a first. Averaged 71.8% this term so 74.7% in my 2nd year and 71.1 in my 3rdSaBBz said:Finished today, think I get mine on the 14th as well, which is the day I get back from holiday. Hoping for a 1st (need 64% this term), but the exams this term didn't go too well so will probably get a 2:1 I think - not too bothered really
Good luck everyone.
Mate, if you do badly just swallow your pride and retake the year. I retook year 13 to get into a decent university and as you can see above I managed to get a first. Retaking my A levels instilled a really good work ethic in me which helped so much at university. Good luck.shifty_uk said:I'm only at College, but I took about 4-5 weeks off a while back and ended up missing submission dates etc for certain projects, now I've fell so far behind it's pretty terrible. I finished last Friday, so now I'm totally paniking, I'm not sure what'll happen, I'm not doing the whole year again! But at the same time I think the qualification will help in the long run![]()
I got 100% on one of my 3rd year Computer Science modules which pushed my average up nicelyPsyk said:At university 80% is a lot. You would have to be pretty exceptional to get that high a score.

Myself, well I received 53% in my second year and i'm around 47% this year, so it's a 2:2 or 3rd for me.![]()
As i'm moving to Hong Kong in September, i'm hoping most of the IT companies over there aren't too fussed about your degree classification.
The degree was in Business Info System and was fairly straightforward, so I have no excuses.![]()

To put it in a bit more context, I got CDE in Physics, Chemistry and Maths first time around, then got BBB when I'd retaken just 1 year (I had Cs from AS level). My degree is in physics with theoretical astrophysics at Nottingham University, so pretty solid course and good uni, but like I said - it's all about work ethicshifty_uk said:Thanks dude, I'll keep that in mind.I kinda lost interest in the course, but want the grade and feel that it'll help me when applying for Uni in 2008.
