Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

couldn't get 790. the second card isn't quite as good on the memory and i get more vram bottlenecking with 2 cards. still decent for £70 worth of gpu.

Does CPU clock matter in this benchmark? i OC'ed my cpu to 4.1ghz and got a lower score than when it was at 3.7ghz. Also i checked core temp and the max temp was 41c so the CPU must not be doing much?

To get every last point on this bench you don't really need to go higher than 4.5ghz for a single card. Having said that 4.1ghz will get you very close to max points as well.

Re running this bench once the PC has warmed up (I don't mean hot) will often result in a small drop in score. For best results just turn on PC from cold set clocks and go for it.

One thing that you can do on an i7 that will give a small increase in score is to turn off hyperthreading.

Cpu - 3770k @ 4.8 ghz watercooled

Gpu - SLI Ref 780ti Skynet Bios , 1286 core , 1900 mhz memory Watercooled

Score 3473

Basically upped the cpu oc a little and 6mhz on the gpu cores , helped a little.

Cpu oc'd to 4.7ghz. Nets a nice gain.

Cpu, i7 4790k @4.7ghz, air cooled

Gpu1, 1202/3305 air cooled

Gpu2, 1176/3305 air cooled.

Hopefully with a spot of tweaking, (possibly unlinked cards) i could break the 3000 barrier.

Can I submit a photo? Can't seem to get screen print to work, can only get a black screen

At the end of the Heaven 4 bench press F12

This stores your screen shot in the folder \User\Heaven\Screenshots\

The file will be in *.tga format and you may need to download some free software to convert it.:)

Unfortunately we have had problems with photos in the past.

Wow that is a pretty nice boost from your last score. Wish my 4770k could go higher than 4.4ghz. Though I really never messed with it much since I got it.
Stable at 1.28v but not sure how much for volts I can get away with on air. Temps while gaming never go above 60c right now.
