true but to keep the highest average clocks water is the only way to go

my problem is the back of the card gets so hot which limits my memory oc quite a lot, no amount of fans can keep it cool under load, trust me i've tried

Yeah found that with my 2080ti just pegged at 2145 on water, I think ill sell the fe and get a strix if I wanna go that route as I find it needs more power

the fe card can pull over 400w if you adjust the power target to 114% (mine hits 419w peak with 114% pwr target), i think anything more that 420w is a real waste of time as at that point the silicone becomes the problem and no matter how much power you throw at it nothing will help geting higher clocks

I've got mine cranked all the way up to 114 but doesn't go over 400w strange

yeah a bit, but i do run 4k hdr ultra settings in every game, that may be why my card sits at 419w with a 114% pwr target?

I'm doing the same on a lg 65c9 hits 398 and goes down

could be card diffrences i supose, just played a bit of destiny 2 and my max power draw was 410w with the average sitting just over 400w (401-402w) with a 114% pwr taget.

but in benachmarks my card is pinned at 419w all the time

a good start point is 100-150 core and around 500-600 on memory but work up to those vales dont just set the max, as if anything is wrong you wont know which is the unstable value due to crashing

5800x thought it was 5pm release like the ocuk title missed out on 5950x, saw 5800x Saturday delivery was only thing I could get my hands on as been using a 2600x and was a serious bottleneck.

dam a 6411 is almost as much as my 16 core 5950x, clearly that benchmark dont much care for cores, i expect you have a 3090 give how close we are score wise?

Cpu is still at stock but yeah ipc is king on heaven when it comes to cpu ive not finalised any clocks yet just done quick dirty oc on the gpu and yes its a 3090 fe. I'm really impressed with the cooler though Idle 30 and max is 52 so far I've seen
