United States Grand Prix 2012, Austin - Race 19/20

Another great Webber quote.

"Temperature is very important, the layout isn't very important," he said. "If the black things in the corners aren't working then you can put the layout up your arse - the car's not going to work. The layout will not be too bad for us but temperatures and understanding the tyres will be important."

Just seen the TV schedule on BBC for this. Livid would be a bit strong, but I'm not happy

What possible use is repeating the highlights show between 0200 and 0400 Monday morning ffs?! It's bad enough they're not even airing the highlights show until 2230. There's basically no way I can watch it (along with a lot of other people) until Monday evening, by which time of course if Sebastian wins the title it will have been unavoidable to find out.

I know there's a time difference but maybe at this point in the season they really should be showing it live, like Brazil.

I know it sucks, but it sucks because of where the title currently stands. The BBC had no way of knowing this race could be the decider, so its rather unfair to get so worked up towards them about it.

are there any streams of FP1 at all?

At work and dont want to change the Sky go computer as I wont be able to get it back for the weekend (unless they've changed the stupid 1 change a month thing...)

lol, what great footage, practice has started, maybe a dozen cars are out, first laps at the track ever.... we're watching the damn pitlane... seriously?

EDIT:- lol, already had a replay of GLock sliding around, second replay of Kobe going off, still no actual live footage of them going around a track ffs.

Jesus, Massa going stupidly slow out of a corner and the back end just going all over the place... they have an extra set of hards, they basically all need to be out there burning the crap out of their tyres and putting rubber down.

EDIT again :- crazy pit lane alarm, as they pass I guess the speed limit line an alarm goes off so everyone knows a car is coming in... its mental, its stupid loud.
