Yeah, I know, but I live in hope!
I dont know why, but this race feels like it's going to throw us a curveball today.
Something odd will happen and make it interesting.
Why are you so certain Alonso would beat Hamilton? He didn't when they both had the same car, and that was a raw and inexperienced Hamilton.
Because the Ferrari has been the better car over the season.
I honestly can't see that making any difference at all, despite Brundle always talking it up. One of those laps Hamilton was driving incredibly slowly, as that's what the Mercs do. Secondly, the drop off on the tyres is so small that an extra lap is almost meaningless.Hamilton has 2 more laps on his tyres then vettel If remember correctly but if temps are higher for the race could even out as merc easier on tyres?

What will make a difference is Kimi on the softs in to T1. He'll have the inside and will probably be ahead. Then it'll be interesting to see how much Ferrari make him ruin his own race and hold up both the Mercs.
I can just see Hamilton driving away into the distance to be honest. Kimi and Bottas will never keep up and unless Vettle can get past the Red Bull early he will be stuck there. Max will come into pay later in the race if he can get through T1 cleanly which is also a problem for him...
Qualifying was pretty close, neither had a 100% clean lap but Hamilton is normally better in the race anyway.
Ferrari have the edge on one lap pace. Vettel was ahead for the entire lap minus the last corner. Great comparison video posted by F1. Who knows in the race.
Any reason why??Pirelli have raised the minimum tyre pressure on the rears by 1.5psi on all tyres. Slicks are now running at 21.5psi.
Any reason why??
