He's only dropping a couple of tenths at the moment though, Max isn't taking chunks... Yet

Seems rather odd that Max pitted the first set of hards after 18 laps on lap 30, having pitted to get rid of the mediums on lap 12... If I remember the pitting laps correctly.

It'll be interesting, at least in F1 levels of interesting, to see if having 7 or 8 lap younger tyres that he can push hard will be enough for Lewis to close up to Max and pass.

Merc are fine. Pitting for hards, he'll go balls to the wall until the end now whereas Max has to nurse his tyres. Lewis wins.

I wish I had the faith in strategy algorithms that Merc do If lewis can close that gap this will be a mighty end to the race. I just think the tyres will disappear by the end and neutralise the race.
