sorry if this has been done before (i had a quick search but "university" is popular). so just wondered for you students, where you are, what you're doing and what you think of it.

ok, guess i'll start:

I'm at Leeds uni doing maths. Should be studying for my finals right now but well, you know how it is. Course was interesting in places but mainly boring as anything. I mainly studied statistics but don't really understand the whole concept of it at all.

what about everyone else?

4th and final year of an Mphys - Physics and space science masters at the University of Southampton.
Some great lessons learnt, but this last year has been without a lot of my peers who finished after a 3 year Bsc. I really feel I could take no more and am looking forward to the nxt step.
Struggling to get into revision frame of mind at the moment :( .
Whats next? A PGCE secondary physics course in Exeter. :D

Strathclyde doing Electrical and Electronic Engineering (with business studies). Big long title that can be shortened to electrical engineering really.
Think it's really good. Has opened a lot of doors for me and given me the choice about where I want my future to go. The links with industry are really really good - I have had 3 placements and sponsorships with 3 different companies without even having to attend any interviews for them. Happy days.
Still can't wait for my last ever exam on Wednesday though.

4th year MPhys, Imperial College London - students from my uni typically have very good prospects. A lot of bright students, plenty of competition.

Heading to Huddersfield Uni in September to start a 4 year Computer Games Design course. Can't wait tbh :D

Finished my Zoology degree at Edinburgh yesterday!

No idea when I actually get to graduate though as its getting delayed because of the sodding strikes.

Sandles, socks, trowels, wire rimmed specs and a dusty beard.
Better start growing that beard now then :p i'm sure i'm not the only girl on the course, but it wouldn't be a first, damn automotive course :(

I'm in my fourth year, my masters year, doing Maths at Cambridge. It took a while for me to find an area that I really liked and was good at, but now I'm looking at pattern formation, instabilities and bifurcations in patterns, and some dynamical systems in general. It's all very exciting.

Next year will hopefully bring a PhD doing similar kinds of things - possibly modelling convection patterns in the sun - but I have to admit that I've put all my eggs in one basket a bit. If I do spectacularly well in my exams, then I'll have a place at Cambridge for the next three years. If not, I'm getting a job! It's all very uncertain at the moment, but I'm going to accept whatever comes and assume that it's for the best. Optimism++ :).

I'm @ UWE Bristol, doing Economics & Philosophical Studies ¬_¬, 95% certain I'm droping Economics and doing full Philosophy next year, I can't stand the neccesary modules of the Economics degree :(

Ohh yeh first year, 3 more exams to go & that will be my first year done \o/

Third year doing an LLB at Abertay Dundee. I tried Computer Games Technology as a first year then changed, it is nowhere near as interesting as it sounds and Law suits me much better. Most of the mates I met at the start of uni have either graduated or dropped out which is a bit of a shame but I've ended up with loads more mates than I would have done if I'd just attempted to plough through straight to third/fourth year of a course I didn't enjoy.

First year ITO at University of Southampton.

Been a pretty damn good year, lots of fun. Although ive also had to work quite a bit, and weve been told our courses first year is a doddle so the next two could be... interesting.

Just gotta get all this coursework done now... :(

The last year I've been in the first year of Maths at Cambridge. I really haven't enjoyed it, I've found practically all of it impossible, and I'm changing into 1st year Computer Science next year - actually really looking forward to that.

Exams in 3 weeks and hopefully I will just about do alright - I'm glad to be getting out of Maths, though. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that it's not really quite for me.

Much respect to Arcade Fire for doing Part III!
