Beth Dutton in Yellowstone. I expect they are aiming for (and maybe many accept her as) a straight-talking, tough woman that doesn't accept any nonsense. I just see her as a really nasty person.
I enjoyed her for a few seasons but last few years she's starting to grate, no character growth at all, she's just stunted and stuck in a single mode, really want Jamie to take her to the train station - along with John.Beth Dutton in Yellowstone. ST: Voyager had a bunch of annoying characters. Janeway for a start. Nelix and that blonde alien woman that looked 30 but way only 6-7 years old. All filler, no killer.
I hated them both as they were essentially useless characters that became quasi bridge officers.Kes, and Neelix.
They killed Kes off at the end of season 2/3 and Neelix got a lot less screen time.
And yes they were both horrendous.
Then seven of nine turned up, and all of a sudden the episodes got significantly better.

Personally liked all the characters in Friends, Ross included. That site is taking things way too seriously lolHow can anyone not like Uncle Albert??
I forgot how bad Ross Geller was actually lol. https://evoke.ie/2018/04/04/entertainment/tv/ross-geller-worst-character-ever
Breaking Bad: Skyler
Chronicles of Thomas Covenant: Thomas Covenant. Six books later: still Thomas Covenant.
I have but haven't read the last Linden Avery book because I needed to re-read the rest to get back into the universe (which I remember finding very satisfying) and I really can't face it. I have a similar problem with his Gap science fiction series, which I rate ridiculously highly as an overall story arc. I want to rediscover why I felt like that, but it's such a gruelling slog -- in a "Happy Valley series 1" kind of way that I just can't get started!hated the character that much I've never been able to reread them
I think this is intentional. I haven't seen the Sopranos but i think its probably similar to Sons of Anarchy and Mayans. Its written in a way that in some small part of you can empathise with the main characters because of their story, charisma and that's how the character survives. Stand back and look at it objectively they are all murdering scumbag gang members whose only loyalty is to the MC. They kill other gangs but also women, children, innocents and police with little to no remorse and relatively minor consequences other than the way they die that being what they live for. Sutter is a master of this sort of writing and characterizations.I didn’t like any of the Soprano crew, with the possible exception of Bobby. They were all just violent, murdering human scum
