Unlocking 2.G iPhone to 2.1 - PwnageTool and Quickpwn - Mac and Windows.

Just upgraded to 2.2 in iTunes and its stayed unlocked, is that normal as I don't really use installer or cydia..

I activated my iphone through itunes with an O2 payg sim card and then I unlocked it through QuickPWN but now everytime I put a vodafone sim card in it tells me to connect to itunes and when its in itunes it says I am using a card that's not supported. Any ideas what I can do?

QuickPWN never works for me, I have always used Pwnage Tool.

If your getting errors in initializing quickpwn then try updating your .NET Framework.

Also some of the links in this forum are old - think you need 1,2_2.2 firmware and not 1,1_2.2 firmware (as is linked in the guide) if you have done the latest firmware update in itunes prior to doing the jailbreak.

You will have to put 2.2 on as I outlined in the guide and start again.
