Hmm noob here.

Me and my bro want to play. Do we have to play on someone elses server with other people? We'd rather play on our own and not worry about coming online the next day to find something built or destroyed.

Are you guys playing on a LAN? If so you could both grab the latest version (1.3.2) and have a LAN server going, only those on your network being able to join.
 
Ooh, yes, we are. That'll be free, right? Also, is this a subscription game? Or is it just one payment of.

If so, how much is it? Cause the minecraft.net is in $? Unless I buy from somewhere else?
 
As far as I'm aware you can only get it from minecraft.net - it's a one off payment then you're free to play when ever you wish mate. Not sure how much they're charging - I got it in the early beta when it was a whole lot cheaper. Must be around $26 ish I imagine.

we need to plum a few rp pumps into the caves near the surface and elt them flood down next while we buidl the main part ithink.

Just checked the inner dimensions, they are 129x129 which is ideal, 64 blocks in all directions from a central block, currently lining the floor with sand but having to wait on it being made.

I'll make a few rp pumps and place them in the chests, what are we going to use as a water source to feed the pumps to fill the caves? some infinite pools?
 
yeah think so, i set one pump up to start filling as a test.

oh and i had an idea i set a simple but effective demonstration up outside the hut, pull the lever.

Now think of something we could use that in :D

Tbh Tefal I'm not sure I'll last on this server, the lack of whitelisting is resulting in an endless streams of kids logging in and spamming the chat, trolling, profanifty and sort of crap in caps etc then disappearing quite often with no admin to be seen so they are then free to return and repeat the same. Unfortunately there is no simple way to turn off the chat you have little choice to either endure it or log off and do something else instead. I choose the latter :mad:
 
true the amount of inane crap- in the chat is getting dull along with 9 million requests per minute for free stuff.

well lined the walls of the pit, cut two back by one block each so that inner dimensions are now 128x128. upped the sand stone production set up too

what tother server to go to though?

i do normaly just ignore the chat though

heh, i've seen how much the new retards hassle the mods :p

i think all that would happen is I'd spend 99% of the day typing /mute <name>

I like to just sit in a far corner of the map and build with syl in all honesty, get too disinterested to actually do mod things :p
