Hey mate, added. I'll be online but idling, might be able to help you out after I watch a movie. If your super stuck oxygene has a few great MC tutorials on MC to help you get started:

Yeah sorry about that bud, a major memory leak killed it. Its frozen atm and I'm 50:50 on killing the process which loses half hour or more of peoples work, or waiting it out half the night!
The server is back up now. but I havent had a chance to track down the problem so be wary... Might have to start limiting users

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to those who answered my questions about pipes when i popped on last weekend.
It turned out I was making a classic noob mistake of confusing brass with gold in a red power recipe list. I ended up crafting buildcraft gold transport pipes instead of the red power pnumatic tubes I thought I'd made!

Ah nasty lol. it can be difficult to get your head round at first, specially as tin + copper smelting = brass, tin dust + copper dust = bronze. Some things can be very similar between mods if you dont know them well.
I am so so sorry about that. When me and dave went to the nether on our playthrough it looked like the whole place had been obliterated by a nuclear bomb, literally. I didnt think anything was left so I regenerated it. I didnt realise your base wasnt in that area. I will provide any help replacing materials or building a new base there that you wish.

Hello Oxy, I'm afraid the server is down again, i couldn't open any of my chests so i tried to re-log and it was down.
Whoops. I was uplaoding the skytable map for a sec but I guess it killed things, restarting now!
