Personally i would just pay the little bit extra and get the PS4s on the rear in 255/40r18

Its like £260 for PS4’s in 255/35/18 and thats the size on the back now so i’ll do that.

I will check the manual

thats odd, i think your right, someone has most likely fitted maybe 2 different sets of wheels ?

i thought it was a little odd, the rears being wider for that car, i didnt think it was RWD ?

I find they often aren't - though doesn't help there is often a range of valid options as well as some of the online tyre checkers/guides being well out.

The door card on my Navara has 255/65R17, but they come from the factory with 255/60R18 while most of the checkers come back with a range of sizes but often 235/70R16.

Got a flat on my Saab 9-5 on the rear so have ordered a pair. Got 5 years out of the rear Eagle 3's. £123 all in 225/45/17. Think I paid a similar amount earlier in the year for a pair of fronts as ATS had a similar deal going.

It was tempting just to change all 4 and keep the fronts as a spare.

Only problem is nearest mobile fitting is the 7th of Jan but have use of other cars and will just have to sit on the spare wheel for now.
 
Perfect timing last night, hit a rain drain without a cover and tyre basically blew up from the side on me. Doubt I'll get council to pay for anything but gotta take it to the garage next week to get a new Goodyear and see if there's any more damage.
 
Lot of snow about this morning. Was quiet on the roads, tried the CrossClimate 2 out in the snow on the dual carriageway and they were fine, plenty of grip.

still ended up driving in the ploughed lane though, but at least I know it’ll get me to and from work if we get worse conditions.

Interesting to know people's actual experiences with them vs the hype. Still haven't had any snow around here to try my all-seasons in.

Have to say with more driving I'm noticing the difference between the Wildpeaks and the Turanzas in the rain - those t005s were just exceptional in the wet - the Wildpeaks aren't bad, but unsurprisingly as they are all-seasons, at the end of the day can't match a specialist rain tyre.
 
Well, trying to decide on tyres as fronts are now starting to show wear and tear and need all 4 as it's AWD blah blah... looking at 275/40/20 on the fronts and 315/35/20's on the rear (yes it's staggered on the SRT8). Just can't decide on what ones as they're gonna need doing in the next few weeks I think.

Falken Azensis FK510 SUV: Front = £151.10 Rear = £172.50 (TOTAL = £647.20 inc VAT) *

Goodyear Eagle F1 AS3: Front = £160.40 Rear = £202.00 (TOTAL = £724.80 inc VAT) *

Michelin Pilot Sport 4: Front = £186.70 Rear = £282.00 (TOTAL = £937.40 inc VAT)
 
Continental Cross Contact? probably the best I've experience of in that kind of line of tyres for that kind of vehicle - I'd have probably put the ATR variant on my pickup but for other reasons (that or the Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus).

Though supposedly not the longest lasting but not an aspect I've experience of.

Will take a look. Currently got Michelin Latitude Sport 3's... been good tyres for an all around and looking for something slightly more sporty but not outright as I do want them to last especially with 2200kg plus on them... it's finding that balance. Always difficult.
