Just had the MOT on my M340D and I'll be needing some new rears in the very near future. I've had Hankook Ventus EVO 3's on and they've done 12k so not sure if thats my heavy right foot or just par for the course. Need to look at some alternatives maybe.
What car/size? My rear PSS on the M2 are completely shot and will have to replace in the spring as well. Was thinking about CSC7... Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the PS5.

Costco have £100 off on a full set of 19+ inch Michelin tyres. Prices have gone up since the start of the year as posted above.

Definitely a good move. PSS were easily the worst 'high performance' tyre I've ever had.
M140i 18s 245/35 and 225/40. Haven't had chance to test them properly yet, biggest test will be when it's colder and wet which is when the PSS were useless, but I have already noticed they seem slightly more comfortable over our crappy roads

Do these tyres need replacing?
left front side
right front side
tread is down to about 2.4 on the outer edges on both but them cracks in the right sided one don't look good to me but i'm not clued up about tyres so i'm not sure.
Car is a suzuki swift

Those cracks don't look too bad yet, so I'd say there's life in them.
That's assuming it is cracks, could possibly just be rubber build up on the edge. How old are the tyres? You can tell from the DOT code on the side

What would anyone recommend for 2x front tyres on a 1.4 tsi Octavia? I've had mid-range ones on for almost 2 years now and they haven't been very good.
I'm not looking for the best of the best but something that grips well. Do the ratings mean much? (Fuel rating etc.).

At KwikFit I saw you can get Bridgestone All Season 6 for £115, Enliten for £104 a corner. Hankook Ventus Prime 4 for £105 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric for £104.I can't remember off the top of my head but I'll update this in the morning.
My tyre size is 225 45 17.

Edit: On Costco the Bridgestone Turanza XL was 85 a corner and Michelin Primacy 4 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric for £100.
All tyres with rated speed Y and 94 load.

Probs the Conti Premium Contact 7. Depending on speed rating about 80-85 quid a corner.I can't remember off the top of my head but I'll update this in the morning.

Where did you find Contis this cheap? I saw them for 125 on KwikFit.
