**Unofficial Tyre Thread**

Just ordered CC3S for the i4.

Was going to downsize alloys but couldn't find 858M in a square setup without buying 4 individual alloys.

Hopefully they don't look stretched - I've seen quite a few CC3S looking stretched on alloys with the alloy poking out.

Had these fitted.

They’re nice tyres - don’t feel like all season tyres. Steering is better than PS5s for example.

However, the rears look quite stretched. Not as bad as some cars I’ve seen, but it looks weird.

Fronts look fine. Not sure if it’s Michelin trying to get as many fitments out of a single size?

Put an order in for 4x Michelin CrossClimate 3 sport, hopefully get them for the weekend to get fitted and replace a damaged / buckled alloy, will be my first time ever driving on all season tyres.

They’re really nice. Much quieter, grippier, softer than the Pirelli’s they replaced – and better steering too.

Oh and cheaper.

Been spending all week looking up tyres.
Ended up with kumhos sport s ps72, the newer version. £200 cheaper than the likes of sc7/ps4s. Also looked at Bridgestones potent sport evo but price dictated the decision in the end.

What size tyres and place you booked them from? Just had an email from National Tyres today for 20% discount on Goodyear, Bridgestone and Pirelli. If the price difference isn't huge would have preferred those 3 brands over Kumho.

We have the Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 on the Mazda 3 rear axle. They have been good.

235/35/19 and 265/35/19. Rear ones availability proved to be difficult when trying to make sure it matched the fronts.

There were ones were a good deal was available for rears but nothing on fronts or vise versa. Will see how it goes but seems to get decent review.

You've actually just got me an upgrade to Bridgestones Potenza sport eves....I knew national tyres wasn't available to me but I hadn't realised they are part of/related to Halfords? So I went directly to Halfords site and can see the exact same offer. £20 more to get me to Bridgestones.Thank you!

EDIT: Spoke too soon  I guess they use the same location/garages with the nearest one in Stranraer, only a ferry trip away..
