I had that edition of PC gamer... For some reason I remember it very well and was one of the reasons me buying UT.

I reinstalled quake 3 last night, theres not many q3base servers at least not when I searched with monster browser.

Do people play team arena as I have that aswell?

The quake live graphics have spoiled me though...

Ah ! I'm doing good thanks. I don't really play PC games anymore, I have converted to a Xbox goon, I still speak to Ian now and then. Bobalob and fro have all disappeared. You were one of the best CTF players to embrace the game at its peak. Think you we're in [DOA] also with Raz0r and co?

Really miss those days of the golden era, nothing has come close to UT in 2000-2002, dedicated servers, brilliant leagues, great huge community, I haven't played a game like that since. UT3 was very good but released 4 years too late.

Yeah It a while since I have played in any clan, last lan game I had was I15 with MacGuyver, I sometimes see RevBillyG lurking in here sometimes. I did try a COD clan a few years back but I was accused of cheating and that was that. Play games on my pc and the odd game with my son on the ps3 but he is only 5 so very liimted to what I can play. Can't ever see myself leaving the PC.

its easy to get working, just make sure you have the latest renderers and you should be fine. I use the latest D3d39 support, wlv has linked to it previously in this thread.
