That was my excuse for having to watch Wet Wet Wet a few years ago ;)

Amy Winehouse>Wet Wet Wet

Bought her 2 tickets for her birthday, she may decide to take someone else and if so thats fine by me, I'd only be there for the beer really ;)

I'm attending Cardiff Calling tomorrow all day with the likes of The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Kate Nash, The Automatic and many others. only going for Nash and Dizzee tho.....

I'm seeing Damien Rice and Ray LaMontagne in October, can't wait. I saw Ray earlier on this year in Sheffield and he was absolutely fantastic :)

Went to see Rilo Kiley tuesday just gone (amazing!)

Going to see:
Liz Green
Stephen Fretwell (provided i'm in manc)
David Ford

Possibly:
Iron & Wine

Joanna Newsom at the RAH... got two tickets but nobody wants to go, so might have to sell the other one on. :(

Turin Brakes at the Junction in Cambridge.

Ooh i was there. You werent the mentalist at the back who was clapping so loudly you could hear him over the music half the time? :p

They were excellent. Couldnt believe how perfect the girls' voices were. With the extra 'oomph' of being live they really sounded fantastic

You'd get on well my my best mate irl - he's a huge Que fan and has been trying to drag me to one of their concerts for nearly ten years now (so far i've managed to avoid it ;) )

Get yourself along.
Every rock fan deserves the experience of The Mighty Quo at least once and I'll wager your head won't stop.
Always remember to go to the bog when they start playing the terrible Rockin All Over the World.

Off to see the wonderful Devildriver in October.

lmao no. It was an amazingly polished performace though, have been wanting to see them for ages, but haven't had the time/money to go before.

I may have developed a slight crush on Jenny Lewis though :o

Ryan Adams - Cardiff
BRMC - Newcastle
Josh Rouse - Bristol

See what else comes up.

Incidentally I've seen Status Quo live and apart from Rockin' All Over the World they were rubbish lol. Great energy and attitude but not enough good songs and too many boring, long riffs. They didn't even do Pictures of Matchstick Men which I probably would have liked.

Although to be fair I was kept amused by a guy in front of me who played every chord of the entire concert on his air guitar lol.

Jackson Browne is the best classic rock concert I've been to. It was absolutely amazing and I'm hoping he'll tour here again soon.
