5600 is £60. I got in under the threshold so np. There are lots of discount coupon codes floating around, I'm not entirely sure where to find them, they keep popping up iirc. 11th Nov is singles day.

Using a cryorig H7 which I’m hoping should be all good.

Just need to flash my bios ready for it now.

just read the website carefully as some bios upgrades might need to be flashed in the correct sequence
(ie you may not be able to just flash the latest bios and the upgrade has to be done in stages)

The 5700x3d arrived at lunch time threw it in and enabled xmp runs 3600mt ram fine, only had time to play a few rounds of cs2 but seems to run quite cool just over 30 idle 65 in game thats with a 34 duo so not a high end cooler.

be careful when you upgrade the bios and make sure you follow all the steps recommended by the motherboard model which usually are a few bios updates (don't jump to the latest bios!)

i read through all the instructions and it didnt mention anything about doing incremental updates so just jumped in with the lastest one and it all updated fine. just waiting on the cpu now. need to grab myself some thermal paste too

what cooler do you have at present?
it may be more worthwhile to get a better cooler (which will come with thermal paste)

the £16 thermalright assassin king ak120se springs to mind immediately, and it comes with high quality paste...and rgb if that's your cup of tea too lol
no point getting a beast cpu and hamstringing it with a wraith stealth lol
