Upgrade recommendations

Sorry to drag this one up again but a divorce got in the way I still have the existing set up. But spending a lot more time at my PC again.
Do the above recommendations still stand or is there better out there for the money?
1440p would be preferred now.
The cards have changed.

4070 Super and 7900 GRE are rarely available anymore. You'd be looking at more like a 9070 or 5070 now.

you need to look at costs now...ddr4 ram getting expensive(32gb 3200 ddr4 ram is now more expensive than 32gb 6000 ddr5, 5800x3d you have to search around for etc
am5 platform has become cheaper and I've seen 9600x cpu's available for £150ish if you look (which can outperform a 5800x3d on av, so going am5 might not be that much more expensive than just swapping all your parts out (you can buy am5 mobo now for £125-£150 which more than capable)...and you can offset that by selling your existing rig. Also at the end of it you'll have an am5 setup which 100% will be worth more than the am4 setup come time to sell it.
am6 out end of 2026..will be expensive, just as am5 was, so will take a year or so before it come down in price..so you're still looking 2.5 to 3.5years away...
gpu forget 4000 series..I's prob look at a 9070 16gb card
so depends how much you want to buy new or search around getting 2nd hand parts etc

So i'm revisiting this again.
I'm ready to upgrade as my pc just isnt handling the games i play very well now, mainly Delta Force.
I would prefer to upgrade with plug and play on AM4 just for ease but i am open to an AM5 build and keeping what i can, like just the PSU?
I see ram is mega bucks now!

Budget is £1k but not to strict.

Current set up reminder:
Fractal design meshify c tower (does this limit my gpu size?
b450m mortar max board
Ryzen 5 3600
2 x 8 GB DDR4 3200 (1600Mhz) corsair vengeance
Nvidia gtx 1660 super

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What is the exact PSU that you currently own?

1. Ryzen 5600-5700X - £130-155 new, but not currently in stock with OCUK.
My basket at OcUK:

Total: £577.97 (includes delivery: £7.99)

A 5700X3D or 5800X3D would be the best for AM4 but they're like hens teeth, you might luck out with one second hand but the costs will probably make them poor value.

RAM is iffy, and AM4 chips don't always respond well to more than two sticks so it's a gamble going that route. You could sell your old 2x8 set to offset costs, should get a decent amount for it in current markets.

There's also a full prebuild option if you can't be faffed:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,099.99 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Slaps you on the AM5 platform, the 7500F is on average around 5700X3D speeds so you get CPU uplift. AM5 isn't EoL either so there is upgrade potential, but they don't specify the motherboard which might limit you a touch, and the PSU will almost certainly be a crappy Kolink Bronze unit.

If you can be faffed you could reuse your case/psu/SSD's and possibly HSF and go full AM5 and have a better overall platform.
