Used Vauxhall Corsa

Either:

A) Buy the Corsa and drive it and nothing else EVER, thus remaining blissfully ignorant of what a lacklustre and abominably boring driving experience it offers compared to, say, contracting piles, IBS and then being violated by a rabid Baboon. The latter being both more interesting and less painful.

or

B) Doing the above, and regretting it because you have bought the four-wheeled equivalent of a group of train spotters all named Norman and Barry, on a dreary day in some boring, desolate town up North, and wanting for anything else, even the heart to use public transport instead. But oh no, you can't do that because you've just spent so much money on this awful car, and it needs to be used or it's wasteful. Thus you end up killing yourself.

or

C) Buying something that isn't a Corsa, that is equally cheap to run, and is actually okay to drive. You're happy you have a better car, OcUK won't ever get to say 'I told you so', and Fox won't implode with the despair of yet another person capable of rational thought going out and buying a Corsa.

The end.

It's priced too high. We paid roughly as much for a better specified Fiesta 1.4 on a 56 plate with a lower mileage. As mentioned many times on this forum, the Corsa (at least of this particular shape) does not compare very well against other cars in it's class.

It's not really fair to compare it to piles, as you'll get piles from driving the thing, but you'll still have all the other disadvantages of driving a Corsa :D

You know, we should create some sort of Motors Wiki that contains information on the most commonly created threads here, and call it "LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR? READ THIS FIRST" or something :D

could get an audi s4 for that price

Hi, what do you guys think of the value of this car thats going for £5500.

The specifications:

1.2i 16v SXI
28k mileage
4door
06 plate
petrol
alloy wheels

The car is in very good condition, so i was thinking of purchasing it. What are your thoughts of this vehicle compared to the going price?

Not going to join in the general corsa bashing that goes on on this forum as I don't agree with it but it certainly isn't a car to be buying with a 5k budget, 1k maybe.

the corsa was a daft idea, about as daft as the s4, hed just need another loan for the insurance and running costs lol when i was 17 etc i dont remember ever coming up with ideas as bad as £k5 on a corsa
